the right is the first generation AVIO which used a Pentium
233 combined with a DVxpress video processor for real time 2D
effects. With today's amazing 3D effects more raw CPU power is
imperative. The DJROCK Power Boost accomplishes this. Its
available for Casablanca Cassie and AVIO and provides
rendering improvements up to 300%.
The 2nd generation AVIO which was released in late 2003
comes with a Pentium 3 compatible main board and the DVxpress
processor. This provides a remarkable boost in speed and
performance. Rumor has it the DJROCK crew has boosted this
unit even further.
Worthy of mention is that the newer AVIO units come
with an optional integrated DVD recorder which facilitates the
importation of CD audio to a video project. These units can
also be used with a split desk top providing outputs for both
VGA and NTSC monitors.
