AVIO Speed Upgrade
Using some of AVIO's incredible special FX just got a great deal
more inviting!
Thanks to VxWorks and DVxpress, AVIO is already capable of most
real-time Special FX that require dual video streams; However with
resource intensive numerical-pixel-crunching AVIO is starting to
lag the competition.
The tech team at DJROCK™is proud to introduce the most comprehensive
power upgrade ever designed for any Casablanca editing product.
Each AVIO is outfitted with a new Super 7 MMX compatible processor
and a self regulating overclocking circuit for a MAJOR boost in
performance. A CPU ultra cool fan is added for DJROCK™ solid
reliability.
Test results to the right describe an AMD K6-3+ with an external
speed of 133 MHZ.
Actual rendering times will vary with content but test results
demonstrate a improvement of 150-200% with V1 Power Boost and 200-300%
with V2.
Warning: This modification requires specific tools and knowledge.
Merely replacing the CPU in a stock AVIO will hasten rendering times
and will damage your equipment!
